parents, honor them?

should you honor parents that do nothing but make you do what you want them to? parents who don't realize they are actually raising an adult. parents who don't realize how crippling their love is. and it not their love that is crippling it their conditional love. "i will only love you if your perfect" "i will only love you if you do what i couldn't" "i will only love you if you do what i say" they never say it like that but when you think about it and lay it flat out, thats what it is. CONDITIONAL LOVE. <This phrase is unjust and unfair and just wrong. how can you tell some one you wont love them if they act themselves?
